Em palavras simples
- We set a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage items to keep you signed in, protect your account, remember your choices and make checkout work.
- Analytics and marketing storage stays off until you choose it.
- Google’s ad code is loaded with advertising and personalization consent denied until you choose. Non-personalized ads can appear before a choice.
- You can change your choices at any time with “Privacy choices” in the footer of every page.
What this policy covers
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way: it keeps small items in your browser for the site to read later. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
This page lists what The Nexus sets itself. How we use personal information is explained in the privacy policy.
Suas escolhas
On your first visit a banner lets you choose “Essential only,” choose categories (analytics, personalization, marketing) or accept all. Analytics, personalization and marketing stay off until you choose them.
Your choice is saved in your browser under the name nx_consent_2026_07_13 and is also recorded on our server, so it can be honored on your next visit. You can change it at any time.
Cookies we set
Sign-in and security
- user_token: keeps you signed in to your customer account. HttpOnly, up to 30 days.
- nexus_device: a random first-party identifier for your browser, used for sign-in security, fraud prevention and rate limits. HttpOnly, up to 400 days.
- nx_google_state: set while you sign in with Google, to protect that step against forged requests. HttpOnly, 10 minutes.
- google_onboarding: set when you create an account with Google, until you finish choosing your details. HttpOnly, 15 minutes.
- admin_token and admin_trust: set only when a member of our team signs in to the admin area. Customers and visitors do not receive them.
Features you use
- nx_region and nx_country_explicit: remember the country you picked in the region selector, so prices and payment methods are shown for it. One year.
- nexus_partner: set when you open a link that carries a partner or affiliate code, so the partner can be credited for an order. HttpOnly, 30 days.
Browser storage we use
These items are kept in your browser and read by our own pages. They are not cookies.
Kept until you clear them (localStorage)
- nx_consent_2026_07_13: your cookie and privacy choices.
- nx_lang and nx_display_currency: your language and the currency prices are displayed in.
- nexus_user_logged_in: a marker that you are signed in in this browser. It holds no password or token.
- nx_cart_v1, nx_wishlist_v1 and nx_wish_merged_v1: your cart, your saved items, and a flag that your saved items were merged into your account.
- nx_recent_v1 and nx_recent_searches: recently viewed products (kept up to 90 days) and recent searches.
- nx_last_pay_method, nx_email, nx_cores_region and nx_cores_server: your last payment method, an email address you typed for a back-in-stock notice, and your Wild Rift region and server, so forms can be filled in for you.
- nexus_ref: a referral code from a link with ?ref=, used to fill in the referral field when you create an account.
- nx_boost_quote_tokens and nx_boost_contact: your boosting quotes and the contact details you typed in the boosting form, so you can come back to them.
- nx_support_v1: your support chat conversations on this device.
- nx_pwa_pv and nx_pwa_dismiss: how many pages you have viewed and whether you dismissed the install-app prompt.
Cleared when you close the tab (sessionStorage)
- nx_order_access_, nx_order_pay_ and nx_invoice_, each followed by an order code: let the order page you just opened keep working in this tab without asking again.
- nx_boost_resume, nx4_more_, nx_support_route_history_v1 and nx_region_synced: short-lived page state, such as a boosting quote in progress or a list you expanded.
Some forms also keep an unfinished draft in your browser until you submit it, for example a tournament registration or an article draft.
Analytics storage (only if you allow it)
nx_analytics_session and nx_attr_first (sessionStorage) and nx_attr_last (localStorage, up to 30 days) are written only after you allow analytics. They hold a random session identifier and the campaign or referral source that brought you to the site, so we can find checkout problems. Choosing “Essential only” clears the attribution items.
Google advertising cookies
Pages of this site may show ads served by Google. Google’s ad code is loaded with advertising and personalization consent denied until you choose. Before you choose, and if you choose “Essential only,” Google is told that advertising cookies and personalized ads are not allowed, so only non-personalized ads can be shown.
When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may set or read cookies on your device, for example to limit how often an ad is shown, to measure ads and, only where you allow it, to personalize them. These are third-party cookies controlled by Google, so their names and lifetimes are set by Google and can change. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before any personalized advertising is used.
Ad code is not loaded on admin, account, order, payment, invoice and account-check screens, on error pages, or on private and utility pages that ask search engines not to index them.
