People search for "EA FC 26 points", "FC Points top up" or "شحن نقاط فيفا" and land on pages that mix up three different things: FC Points, the FUT Coins you earn by playing, and the FC Points inside the mobile game. This guide separates them, explains how each platform sells FC Points, and shows every legitimate way to buy them, with EA's own help pages linked so you can check each point yourself.

What is EA SPORTS FC?
EA SPORTS FC is Electronic Arts' football series, the successor to the games EA used to publish under the FIFA name. A new edition comes out every autumn. At the time of writing the newest one is EA SPORTS FC 27: EA's launch update gives 25 September 2026 as the worldwide launch on consoles (24 September at 23:00 UTC on PC), after early access and an EA Play trial the week before. EA's own page describes more than 21,000 players from over 800 clubs and national teams in FC 27.
Many players are still on EA SPORTS FC 26, and our store's hub for this game still carries the FC 26 name, so you will see both numbers. FC Points work the same way in both: they belong to one edition of the game on one platform, and when a new edition arrives you get a one-time chance to carry leftover points forward (more on that below).
The console and PC game is built around a few big modes. Football Ultimate Team (FUT, still called Ultimate Team on many EA help pages) is the collect-and-build mode where FC Points matter most. The Grounds is a social football playground, and it now includes Clubs, where you create a Pro and play with friends; EA notes that The Grounds, including Clubs, is only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Career Mode is the offline manager and player career, which does not use FC Points at all.
How Football Ultimate Team works
In FUT you build a squad of Player Items and play with it against the AI or other players. EA's beginner guide for FC 27 walks through the first steps: you pick one Starter Pack tied to two leagues you like, then follow the Foundations objectives, which teach the modes, squad building and the Transfer Market while handing out rewards.
- Squad Battles and Moments: matches and short scenarios against the AI. EA recommends new players start here, on Amateur or Semi-Pro difficulty, instead of facing other players with a starting squad.
- Rivals and Champions: the competitive online modes. Weekend League and the Elite Division of Rivals sit at the top.
- Transfer Market: where players buy and sell tradeable items for FUT Coins.
- SBCs and Evolutions: Squad Building Challenges turn duplicate or unused items into rewards, and Evolutions upgrade a player item when it meets set requirements.
FC 27 changes the balance between playing and paying. EA's launch notes say a significantly higher share of rewards will be tradeable, post-match FUT Coins in Rivals, Champions and Squad Battles go up (FC 26 typically paid around 500 to 600 coins a match), and the Store will run fewer promotional Pack offers with lower user limits. EA says it wants the Store to be "an optional complement" to what you earn by playing.
FC Points vs FUT Coins: what each one buys
This is the difference most buyers need to understand before spending anything.
| FC Points | FUT Coins | |
|---|---|---|
| How you get them | Bought with real money in the game, on your platform's store, or from trusted retailers | Earned by playing matches, completing objectives and selling items on the Transfer Market |
| What they buy | Packs and stadium items from the Store, Draft entries, Evolution slots, the Season Pass, Clubs cosmetics | Items on the Transfer Market, some Packs, Evolutions and other in-game costs |
| Can you buy them? | Yes, from EA or its partners | No; buying coins breaks EA's rules |
| Tied to | Your platform and the current edition | Your Ultimate Team club |
The FC Points column comes from EA's buying guide, which lists Packs and stadium customisation items from the Ultimate Team Store, Ultimate Draft entries, Evolution slots, the Season Pass and cosmetic items for your Pro in the Clubs Store. EA also states plainly that FC Points are optional and not required to play Ultimate Team.
Coins are not for sale. EA's coins and points safety page says you can earn coins but cannot purchase them, and that buying coins from a third party breaks its rules. Penalties listed there range from removing your coins or deleting your Ultimate Team club to banning your account from FC online play or from EA games. Coin sellers often ask for your login, and EA's FC rules say sharing your account information is itself a violation. If you want to spend money on Ultimate Team, FC Points are the route EA allows.
Pack probabilities: what EA shows before you open
Packs bought with FC Points have random contents, so it helps to know what EA discloses. According to EA's pack probabilities article, every Pack sold for FC Points in the Football Ultimate Team Store has a "Show Pack Probabilities" option. Items are grouped by type and OVR range (and Club Items under their own heading), and the numbers are minimum chances of getting at least one item in that group.
- Each Pack is an independent event. Opening several Packs does not make a good pull "due".
- The chance of one specific player is much lower than the chance of the range he sits in; EA says it is often less than 1%.
- Probabilities are recalculated with content updates, and the screen shows when they were last updated.
- EA has shown pack probabilities since FC 24, and probabilities for Club Items since FC 25.
Read the probabilities before you decide a Pack is worth your FC Points. In FC 27 EA also renamed and restructured Packs, using words such as Mini, Small, Large, Jumbo and Giant to show size, so a familiar Pack from last year may carry a different name now.
Platforms, regions and moving FC Points
FC Points stay on one platform
FC Points are bought through a platform's store and belong to that platform's copy of the game. EA's cross-play page explains that cross-progression only works within the same platform, for example PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S, but not from PlayStation to Xbox. Cross-play lets you play against friends on other platforms; it does not share your points.
Carrying points into a new edition
When a new edition launches, leftover points can move forward once. EA's transfer article for FC 25 to FC 26 sets the rules: you transfer from the pop-up the first time you log in to the new game on your console or PC (not in the Web or Companion App), only within the same console family, and the move is permanent. EA Play members who transfer during a trial and then do not buy the full game do not get the points back on the old edition. The same prompt appears when moving to FC 27, so check which edition you are playing before you buy a code.
Region matters for codes and wallet cards
Gift cards and wallet codes are tied to a store country. PlayStation says a voucher code must be for the same region as your account, codes can only be used once, and funds cannot be moved between accounts. Steam is more flexible: its redeem page says wallet codes are converted to the currency of your Steam Wallet whatever country they were bought in. Microsoft gift cards and Xbox codes are redeemed to your Microsoft account and spent in the Microsoft Store on Xbox or Windows, so buy a card for the country your Microsoft account uses. EA's own gift cards are only sold in certain countries (North America, Brazil, several European countries, Australia and New Zealand), and the first one you redeem fixes your EA Wallet country.
How to buy FC Points, step by step
There are two families of routes: buying directly from EA or your platform, and buying a code or wallet card from a store such as The Nexus. Both end with FC Points on your account.
Option 1: inside the game
- Open Ultimate Team from the main menu (or The Grounds, or Clubs).
- Go to the Store tab and select Enter Store.
- Open the FC Points tab and choose a bundle.
- Confirm the payment with your platform account's payment method or wallet balance.
These are EA's official steps. The same guide lists the other official routes: your platform's store (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo, Steam, Epic), the EA app on PC (search "FC Points" and pick EA SPORTS FC - FC Points under Add-ons), and the Companion App. Buying through the Companion App on PlayStation or Xbox is only available in the United States; PC players can use it in all regions. EA Play subscribers get a 10% discount on FC Points bundles, with conditions.
Option 2: a code or wallet card through The Nexus
If paying on PlayStation Store, Xbox or Steam with a card is hard where you live, a code or wallet card lets you pay locally and then buy in the normal way.
- Open our EA SPORTS FC hub for FC Points codes, or the gift card page for your platform: PlayStation Store, Xbox, Steam or EA.
- Check that the product matches your platform and the country of your account. The product page names both, and it shows the delivery method before you pay.
- Pay with one of the methods shown at checkout; in Egypt these include Vodafone Cash and InstaPay.
- Copy the code from your private order page and redeem it yourself: an FC Points code on the platform it is for (for PC codes, My Library › Redeem Code in the EA app, as EA explains), or a wallet card in your platform's store.
- If you redeemed a wallet card, buy the FC Points bundle in the game or in the store, as in Option 1.
What The Nexus sells for this game: the EA SPORTS FC hub lists FC Points as codes that you redeem on your own account, so we never need your password. For platform balance, use the matching gift card page. Because EA forbids buying FUT Coins, this guide does not cover or recommend any coin service.
If points do not appear after a purchase, EA's missing points guide suggests checking the transaction history on the platform you bought on, restarting the game and checking server status. After 24 hours EA support needs your proof of purchase, your platform ID, the platform, the time of purchase, the number of missing points and the code if you bought one. PlayStation purchases go to PlayStation support first.
EA SPORTS FC Mobile: separate FC Points
EA SPORTS FC Mobile is its own game for phones, and its FC Points have nothing to do with the console and PC points. EA's FC Mobile help page describes FC Points as the currency for Player Packs, bundles and other items in the mobile Store, alongside a second currency, Silver, used for exclusive items such as the Starpass and Limited Bundles. EA lists only three ways to get FC Mobile points: buying them in the game, buying them in the FC Mobile Webstore, and earning them from Daily Activities.
The FC Mobile Webstore is operated by Coda Payments. To use it, link your EA Account to FC Mobile in the game's settings; purchases arrive in your in-game inbox. At the time of writing EA lists Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq and Morocco among the countries that can use it. EA says the FC Mobile Webstore is operated by Coda Payments, and for any payment problem there it sends you to that provider's support.
Every web purchase needs your FC Mobile User ID. EA's User ID guide says to tap the Settings (cogwheel) icon on the home screen; the ID is in the top-right corner after "UID". Keep a screenshot of it: EA needs it to help if you are ever locked out.
On The Nexus, FC Mobile is a player-ID top-up: open the EA SPORTS FC Mobile hub, enter your User ID before paying, and follow the delivery on your order page. You never give us a password.
Ways to get FC Points compared
| Route | Who you pay | Shares your password? | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| In-game Store (FUT, The Grounds, Clubs) | Your platform, through EA's store | No | Needs a payment method or wallet balance on your platform account |
| PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, Epic, Nintendo | The platform | No | Points stay on that platform; refunds follow the platform's rules |
| EA app (PC) | EA | No | EA Wallet balance from EA gift cards can be used, where cards are sold |
| Companion App | EA or your console's webstore | No | Console purchases through the app only in the United States |
| FC Points code from The Nexus | The Nexus | No | Check platform and region on the product page; you redeem it yourself |
| Platform gift card, then in-game | The card seller, then your platform | No | The card must match your account's country (Steam converts currency) |
| Buying FUT Coins from a third party | A coin seller | Often yes | Against EA's rules; can cost you your club or your account |
Spending limits and parental controls
FC has its own spending tool. EA SPORTS FC Playtime shows the time you spend in the game, the matches you play each week, and how many FC Points you buy and Packs you open in Ultimate Team. It is off by default: turn it on in Settings › Online Settings › Privacy Settings › Share Playtime Usage Data, or from Ultimate Team › Club › Settings › Playtime. You can set weekly limits for Packs and FC Points purchases from the Playtime menu inside Ultimate Team and in the FC Web and Companion Apps, and match limits from the in-game Playtime menu.
Consoles add their own layer. On PlayStation, wallet top-up codes for a child's account are redeemed on the family manager's account, and the family manager can then set a monthly spending limit for the child. Xbox, Nintendo and PC storefronts have family settings of their own, described on each platform's help pages. If a child plays FUT, turning on both FC Playtime and the console's family settings is the most reliable way to avoid surprise purchases.
Protecting your account and your money
- Buy FC Points only from official routes. EA's rules name the Ultimate Team Store, your console's store, physical cards from retailers and trusted retailers. EA warns that codes from unauthorised sellers can be fake, used or stolen, and that it disables illegally obtained codes.
- Never share your EA or platform login. No legitimate FC Points code or wallet card needs your password.
- Do not buy coins, "comfort trades" or accounts. EA lists coin buying, coin distribution and mule accounts as rule breaks that can lead to club deletion or bans.
- Match platform and region. A PlayStation code will not work on Xbox, and most wallet codes only work in the country they were issued for.
- Keep proof of purchase. EA and the platforms ask for it if points go missing. For store orders, read our refund policy.
- Ignore "free FC Points" generators. EA says there are no other ways to get FC Mobile points than the ones it lists, and the same logic applies on console and PC.
How we keep this guide accurate
Every statement in this guide about how EA SPORTS FC, FC Points or a platform's store works comes from EA, Sony, Microsoft or Valve pages, linked in the text and listed below, checked on the date shown at the top. FC changes every season: Store offers, Pack names and even where you can buy points move with each edition, so we review this page after every new edition and major update. We do not quote prices here because they change by region and platform; the live prices are on our product pages. If you spot something that has changed, use the correction link at the end of the article.
Frequently asked questions
What are FC Points in EA SPORTS FC?
FC Points are EA SPORTS FC’s premium currency, bought with real money. EA lists what they buy: Ultimate Team Packs and stadium items, Draft entries, Evolution slots, the Season Pass and cosmetic items for your Pro in Clubs. EA also says they are optional and not needed to play Ultimate Team.
Can I use FC Points on another platform?
No. FC Points belong to the platform you bought them on. EA only allows progress and points to move within the same console family, such as PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, not from PlayStation to Xbox or PC.
Do my EA FC 26 points carry over to FC 27?
Leftover points can be transferred once, from a pop-up the first time you log in to the new edition on console or PC. The transfer only works within the same console family and cannot be undone, and it is not available from the Web or Companion App.
Can I buy FUT Coins instead of FC Points?
No. EA says FUT Coins can be earned by playing and trading but not purchased, and buying them from a third party breaks its rules. Penalties include losing your coins, deletion of your club and bans from online play.
Are EA FC Mobile FC Points the same as console FC Points?
No. EA SPORTS FC Mobile is a separate game with its own FC Points and a second currency, Silver. Mobile points are bought in the game, in the FC Mobile Webstore or on EA-approved payment sites, using your FC Mobile User ID.
Where can I see pack odds in Ultimate Team?
Every Pack sold for FC Points in the Football Ultimate Team Store has a “Show Pack Probabilities” option. It shows the minimum chance of getting at least one item in each type and rating range, and EA notes that the chance of one specific player is often below 1%.
How can I limit spending on FC Points?
Turn on EA SPORTS FC Playtime in the game’s settings. It tracks FC Points purchases and Packs opened, and lets you set weekly limits from Ultimate Team or the Web and Companion Apps. Console family settings, such as PlayStation spending limits, add a second layer.
Why are my FC Points missing after I paid?
EA suggests checking the transaction history on the platform you bought on, restarting the game and checking server status. If the points are still missing after 24 hours, contact EA with your proof of purchase, platform ID and the code if you used one; PlayStation purchases go to PlayStation support first.
